7. Ten Million Years Of Absolute Power, Thats What It Takes To Be Really Corrupt. - The Doctor (C. Baker)
Even before the Time War broke out, the Time Lords had irritated the Doctor on many occasions due to their growing superiority complexes. Both Tennant and Smiths Doctors made reference to how dangerous the Time Lords had become in the heat of war, and in The End Of Time we even got to see some of that corrupt arrogance in action with the Time Lord civilisations founder at the helm, Rassilon. If the Doctor rescues Gallifrey from the pocket universe, he has to be prepared for the good and the bad. We have already seen that the Time Lords resurrected dangerous renegade Time Lords to aid in their war efforts, so the Doctor may end up having to deal with old foes such as the Master, the Rani or the Meddling Monk in the upcoming series. Maybe Rassilon will still be around to cause more trouble. Shouldnt be too much trouble for the Doctor with Gallifrey at his side, should it?
My life is an odd blend of the real and surreal. By day I study law but by night I live my life vicariously through science fiction and fantasy, as a Whovian, gamer and writer.
