Doctor Who Review: Time Heist - 5 Ways The Check Was Cashed (And Bounced)

Timeheist01 The Teller is reminiscent of the Minotaur from €œThe God Complex€ in series six. While the Minotaur preyed on faith, however, the Teller gorges on guilt. What if the Teller encountered a criminal sociopath? If a person were incapable of feeling guilt would they still trigger a feeding frenzy? It must be a specific kind of guilt related to actions taken at the bank that the Teller is focused on as we all feel some level of guilt over certain past events. The idea of a thing eating our brains and turning them to mush is a suitably horrifying one. The creature€™s face, with large frowning mouth and prominent eye stalks is peculiarly expressive. It appeared anguished as it was forced to feed on its victims. €œTime Heist€ is an episode rife with problems yet it does have its fun moments. It is unfortunate the plot wasn€™t more coherent or the villain more worthy. The reveal of the Teller€™s mate being held hostage was trite and unsurprising. The motivation of regret was unearned and therefore unbelievable. Perhaps it would have helped if Karabraxos€™ clone were a member of the team that participated in the heist rather than the head of security. That might have supplied an important glimpse into character. In the end €œTime Heist€ broke the bank but not in a good way.
