Doctor Who Season 8: 10 Things We Already Know

1. Twelve's Costume

A new incarnation means a new set of threads. Though he may have been wearing Eleven€™s clothes (sans bowtie) in the final moments of €œTime of the Doctor,€ Twelve will put together his own outfit when he returns in season 8. Luckily for us, the BBC felt generous enough to release an image of Peter Capaldi wearing Twelve€™s outfit back in January. The new look consists of €œa dark blue Crombie coat with red lining, dark blue trousers, a white shirt as well as sturdy, black shoes,€ all of which were designed by Howard Burden. Capaldi described the outfit as €œback to basics,€ as well as €œ100 percent Rebel Time Lord.€ For us, the term €œspace wizard€ comes to mind when gazing at Twelve. The outfit is certainly sleek, and Capaldi€™s pose (odd as it may be) almost looks to be challenging the viewer, saying, €œDon€™t you dare make fun of my new duds.€ It€™s a switch from what we saw Eleven wearing, but then again, it wouldn€™t be a good Doctor outfit if it looked similar to a previous Doctor€™s look. There€™s one thing we know for sure: those colours are definitely not the same colours as his kidneys, otherwise he wouldn€™t be wearing them.
