Doctor Who Series 8: 15 Obscure Easter Eggs You Probably Missed

1. The Master's Location Of Gallifrey Was (Once) Correct (Death In Heaven)

Since it was first revealed to have survived the Time War in The Day Of The Doctor, fans have been eager to see Gallifrey return to our screens. It almost looked like Death In Heaven would show us just that, with Missy providing its alleged location, but that was all a ruse; the coordinates she gave led to nothing but empty space. You could argue that the Doctor should have known Missy would be likely to trick him, but thanks to the best easter egg of the series you can see why he believed her; the given coordinates are pretty significant. You see, as first revealed in the Fourth Doctor story Pyramids Of Mars, the coordinates 10-0-11-00:02 are actually the location of where the Time Lord home-world used to be. Clearly the Doctor thought that Gallifrey had returned to its original place in space. Sadly things weren't that easy. It's a little infuriating to see the Gallifrey mystery stretched out, but at the very least this tease reminds us that it's still in Steven Moffat game-plan. Did we miss any Series 8 easter eggs?
