Doctor Who Spoilers: 10 Story-Line Set-Ups That Will Shape Season 8

5. The Doctor Is A Good Dalek

The resemblance between season one€™s sixth episode, Dalek, and season eight€™s second episode, Into The Dalek, are too many to be ignored. Specifically, the line where the transformed Dalek in both episodes tells the Doctor that he is a €˜good Dalek€™, based on his hatred for the species that€™s dogged him for centuries, murdered whole civilizations and ruined his life. Now, transpose that to the repeated questioning in the early part of this season as to whether the Doctor is a €˜good man€™, and the concern over whether Twelve actually fits that description€ and we€™ve got ourselves a narrative through-line. We don€™t think the Daleks are due to reappear in this season, but this repetition from older storylines is starting to become a real thing in season eight. Is this Doctor a good man?
