8. Who Is Tasha Lem?
"The Siege of Trenzalore has begun", utters Tasha Lem: a new and mysterious figure who looks like a central player to the plot against The Doctor. Controlling what looks like the same sort of paramilitary outfit that Madame Kovarian was leading in Series 6, she wants Trenzalore for one reason or another. Why she'd want to do that is a mystery in and of itself, but for now let's focus on the lady who's seemingly at the head of everything. First off, it's a good bet that with The Silence returning, these guys are probably the same order that Kovarian was leading a couple series ago. However, Ms. Lem has been pictured with a Dalek eye stalk protruding from her forehead, much like several of the characters in Asylum of The Daleks, so she might be in the employ/control of The Daleks. (Unless it's trendy/advantageous to have an eyestalk put into your head.) Of course, there's always the possibility that The Daleks and The Silence are working together... which has probably made some of you drop whatever you're holding and fear the gruesome twosome. (If so, please take a moment before advancing to the next slide. It's a doozy.)
