7. Amy Pond Is A Ganger
Season six was full of twists and turns around every corner. Aside from The Doctor’s death at the beginning of the season and River Song being Amy and Rory’s daughter, another shocking and important plot twist was dropped when it was revealed Amy to be a Flesh duplicate the entire time she was travelling with The Doctor and Rory.
In reality, Amy was taken to Demons Run by Madame Kovarian in order for Kovarian to watch over the pregnant Pond and eventually take the child as her own, with the plan of this offspring later killing The Doctor. The chilling scene of seeing Amy waking up to find herself heavily pregnant and about to give birth, was truly chilling.
This twist answered many questions as to why Amy was having visions of a random lady, and why she told The Doctor she was pregnant then said that wasn’t true and she doesn’t know why she said that in the first place. Even the TARDIS scanner couldn’t decide if she was pregnant or not.
