"Bigger on the inside" is easily one of the most famous quotes in the entire show, and while it's normally only associated with the interior of the TARDIS, it can also be used to describe something else: the Doctor's pockets.

Near the end of the 2006 Christmas special The Runaway Bride, the Tenth Doctor pulls out a huge remote control from one of his front pockets, and when Donna asks him how it fit in there, he replies "they're bigger on the inside".

Now sure, this could be taken as a jokey, throw-away line, but this episode isn't the only example of the Doctor having an unusually high amount of pocket space.

In the Fourth Doctor serial Robot, the Doctor empties a ridiculous variety of objects from his pockets, including a galactic passport, a document from Skaro, a Mars-Venus pilot's licence, a yo-yo, an honorary membership for the Alpha Centauri Table Tennis Club, some goggles, some playing cards, and... is that a fake white bird? WTF dude.

Then, in The Mysterious Planet, the Sixth Doctor's pockets contained a wide assortment of items - including a huge torch and an oil can - and in The Day Of The Doctor, the Tenth Doctor whips a strange machine out of his trouser pocket and waves it in Queen Elizabeth's face - a machine that is clearly far too big to be stored inside said pocket.
