Come on, everyone wants K-9 to come back. Having this friendship shown again would be a thankful nod to Classic Who, during which the Fourth Doctor had K-9 by his side for most of his tenure and thus formed a typical 'man and his dog' best friend relationship. Having the metal mutt at his side, the Doctor would appear to have his old friend back and K-9 would also serve as a special and enjoyable recurring character for the audience. He's also been introduced to audiences of the revived series but ended up being tragically underused - fans first saw him return to NuWho in Series 2's School Reunion and then again, albeit briefly, in Series 4's finale Journey's End. Furthermore, the robot dog has had several spin-off shows in which he usually started alongside Sarah Jane Smith. So surely everyone loves the metal hound and would love to see him return? Affirmative! Maybe bringing Jenny back with K-9 would be a fantastic idea as well. Just sayin'. What do you think of this list? What else should be included in Series 9?
