9. A Heavenly Host
The mystery deepened in the second episode, Into the Dalek, when Missy returned to our screens as the hostess with the mostess at a tea party for the recently deceased. There was a sort of Mad Hatter's tea party vibe to the proceedings only Alice was nowhere to be seen and there was an underlying feeling that none of its guests would get out alive. Not that it mattered, of course, because they were already dead at this point, but at least there was a cup of tea waiting for them on the other side to help soften the blow. How quintessentially British.
