Doctor Who: 10 Most Annoying Companions Of The Revived Series

10. Wilfred Mott

Before you come at us with pitchforks, just hear us out, OK? There is absolutely nothing wrong with Wilfred Mott as a person. He was as loveable as Doctor Who companions come and, having only bit parts in a handful of episodes until he was instated as the Tenth Doctor's 'companion of the week' for The End of Time, he was tragically underused and certainly far more deserving of his short but sweet position aboard the TARDIS than many of its co-residents who came before and after him. Well, at least until he went and spoiled it all by doing something stupid like killing the Tenth Doctor, that is. Yes, it wasn't entirely his fault, but why oh why did Wilf have to go and get himself trapped in that radiation chamber in the first place?! As the Tenth Doctor pointed out, it's just the sort of person Wilf is, but surely you can't help but resent him a little bit for being indirectly responsible for our beloved Time Lord's demise? That - and only that - is the soul reason he's been included on this list. He's still just so damned adorable, though. Throughout The End of Time you just want to give him a big hug and tell him everything was going to be OK. It wasn't for the Tenth Doctor, of course, who died surely afterwards. Wilfred! *shakes fists*
