Doctor Who: 10 Most Cringeworthy Moments Of The Revived Series So Far

3. Obama's Secret Plan/The Master Race (The End Of Time)

It may come as a surprise that some fans of Doctor Who are American, and it may also come as a surprise that not all Americans are equally fond of Barack Obama. But even the President's most rabid fans and supporters never believed that he ever had a secret plan to solve the global financial crisis, even back then. This depiction of him is downright bizarre, to say the least, and sycophantic at best. In either case, it's hard to watch with a straight face.

What's even harder to watch, however, is what follows, which basically involves the Master somehow changing everyone on Earth into an image of himself. Had it been Roger Delgado or even Anthony Ainley, it might have been the slightest bit menacing. Instead, fans get the grinning visage of John Simm. Everywhere. With a bad dye job.

Yeah, that's just as bad as believing that any American president could solve the world's ongoing financial crisis. Maybe even worse. Though, somehow, even that's not as bad as the next entry...
