Doctor Who: 10 Most Powerful Daleks Ever

9. Supreme Controller (The Dalek Invasion Of Earth)

In charge of the Dalek Invasion of Earth in the 1964 serial, this grandly-titled Dalek was a colour-swap of the drones roaming the devastated Earth.

Primarily overseeing the Bedfordshire mine operation to tunnel to the Earth's core, the Supreme Controller commanded the invasion from a control centre away from the action.

Despite having less 'personality' than other Supreme Daleks, it did have something that others didn't - a pet.

Patrolling the Bedfordshire mines at night was the tentacled monstrosity known as the Slyther - another fearsome native of Skaro. The Supreme Controller had brought this creature to Earth to act as its guard-dog.

Both the Slyther and the Supreme Controller were killed in the final attack on the mine, with the monster falling to its death and the Dalek being caught in an explosion which also brought down its saucer-craft.

Managing to invade the Earth in the 22nd Century, this Dalek achieved what many others had tried and failed to do. However, it was only able to do so with the help of its horrifying pet and an army of Robotmen, and it was promptly defeated by the First Doctor and his friends.
