Doctor Who: 10 Most Powerful Daleks Ever

8. Dalek Prime Minister (Asylum Of The Daleks)

As well as having Emperors and Supremes, 2012's Asylum of the Daleks also revealed that the Daleks had a Parliament and a Prime Minister.

In command of a Saucer which contained the Parliament - consisting of thousands of Daleks - the Prime Minister was an exposed mutant in a glass jar. With no visible weapons, this Dalek had to rely on its protectors stationed all around it for attack and defence.

Despite its amassed forces, this Dalek was forced to call on the assistance of 'The Predator' - also known as the Doctor. The mission: travel to the Dalek Asylum - a resting place for insane Daleks - and deactivate the forcefields. In doing so, both the planet and the Doctor would be destroyed.

A cunning but highly flawed plan, it would backfire when Dalek-Oswin in the heart of the Asylum managed to erase all knowledge of the Doctor from the Dalek hive-mind. With the planet destroyed and the Doctor managing to transmat back to the Parliament, the Dalek Prime Minister and its minons had entirely forgotten him.

This Dalek seemed more 'human' than any of the others - expressing concern, fear, and even sarcasm. It hasn't been seen on-screen since - suggesting that more powerful Daleks have taken its place.
