"You know what it's dangerous about you? It's not that you make people take risks, it's that you make them want to impress you. You make it so they don't want to let you down. You have no idea how dangerous you make people to themselves when you're around." - Rory Williams in The Vampires of Venice
Admit it, you got chills when you first watched this scene. As much as we all love to see the Doctor step up and save the day, there's always something immensely satisfying about watching the Doctor get taken down a peg or two, and nobody does this better than Rory Williams. Indeed, this moment is perhaps one of the few great times when the Doctor is made aware of his effect on peoples' lives and the fact that the previously bumbling and useless Rory is the one that delivers this crushing blow only serves to make it more powerful.
