Doctor Who: 10 Old School Enemies We Want To See Return

2. The Silurians

Silurians Yes, there have been "new" Silurians, but what about tracing back to the Silurians with the third eye, instead of the ones that look more human than reptilian? The problem with the new Silurians, as mentioned before, is that you can clearly tell people are playing the monsters. With the costumes from the Third Doctor episode Doctor Who and the Silurians and Fifth Doctor episode Warriors of the Deep, there is certainly a difference in what they look like. And it isn't just their looks that appeal: these creatures are ruthless - they basically want the Earth for themselves and would kill the human race for it, especially by the Fifth Doctor era. The Third Doctor had managed to negotiate, or at least was beginning to negotiate with the Silurians, when the Brigadier had them destroyed, causing much grief to the Doctor.

1. The Raston Warrior Robot

Doctor Who Raston Robot

The Raston Warrior Robot was a lethal killing machine seen in The Five Doctors, whic could wipe out a whole army of Cybermen in just a matter of moments. It was quick and stealthy, and always able to catch the enemy off guard and it made for a compelling villain. In the Five Doctors, it was the Third Doctor and Sarah Jane that faced the Raston Warrior Robot, and were able to slip by unnoticed due to the Cybermen becoming the new victims of the Raston Warrior Robot. It would be great to see this enemy return again, and to see it more deeply explored instead of just in a single scene. Its powers almost certainly justify more focus. What do you think? I am a sales associate by day, and 3D artist and writer at night. I have a passion for Doctor Who, especially the Fifth Doctor era. I go to conventions when I have the funds, and I also make costumes on my spare time.
