Doctor Who: 10 Places The Doctor Has Never Visited On-Screen

6. Torchwood Hub, Cardiff

Despite its prevalence throughout the Torchwood TV Series, the Doctor has never actually stepped foot in the Torchwood Hub.

Captain Jack's base of operations has appeared in Doctor Who episodes The Stolen Earth/Journey's End from 2008, and the TARDIS has stopped to refuel above it in Cardiff in various other adventures. However, our Time Lord hero has never actually been inside the Torchwood Three base.

The most secure place in Cardiff, the base was powered by rift technology and contained artefacts, equipment, and trophies from across time and space that aided Captain Jack and his team. Like an Earth-bound TARDIS, this impressive Hub would have been an excellent place to see the Doctor interact with if the TARDIS had materialised there.

Despite its destruction during Children of Earth, Doctor Who's time travel plots could easily see the Thirteenth Doctor returning to an earlier point in Torchwood's timeline and using the Hub as a base. With the possibility of Captain Jack returning to the show, there could even be a chance of a new Torchwood Hub being established too.

Complete with a Pternadon flying overhead, the Doctor would have looked perfectly at place in this sci-fi haven.
