Doctor Who: 10 Protagonists They Should Bring Back

3. Jenny

Doctor Who Jenny Her episode in series 4 /30 may have been polarizing, but' 'The Doctor's Daughter' continues to gather much debate amongst fans. Because Jenny was always intended to be a one-off character, until Steven Moffat asked Russell T Davies to keep her alive at the end. This sets up a lot of interesting possibilities for Jenny, a character borne out of the Doctor's DNA, who we last saw was about to run off across the galaxy to have adventures of her own. Fellow WhatCulture writer Molly Tracy recently wrote about 3 potential uses of Jenny, should she ever make her come back. Of the choices presented, my preference would be for a two-part story for her return to the show. Seeing how she reacts to Capaldi's Doctor - and Clara, someone quite similar in personality (so much that audience theorised that Clara was Jenny) would be interesting. More than anything else, it's a big loose thread that will continue to get debated until we get closure on her character. There's so much potential for Jenny. I didn't think she mind blowing as a guest character but she was fun. I can imagine, like River or Jack, she's got herself into a lot of trouble in the past. Perhaps now would be the time for the Doctor to bail his daughter out of a difficult situation?
