Doctor Who: 10 Protagonists They Should Bring Back

2. The Eighth Doctor

8th Doctor If you've read my posts, you'll also know that I'm still campaigning for the Eighth Doctor to make his long awaited return on screen to Doctor Who. There are rumours that he may pop up in some form during the 50th special, but that isn't enough for me. I want a big two-parter that sees the Eighth and Twelfth working together. Better yet, a spin off series...but I can't see the BBC having the budget for that some how. Paul McGann's Doctor was very good. I think that's fairly unanimously agreed, despite the questionable nature of a good quota of the TV movie. I watched it recently and quite enjoyed it, but if you want to have some great Eighth Doctor stories, check out his audio adventures with Lucie Miller. They're rather good! I think there's always going to be arguments by fans as to whether he truly is canon or not. Because the TV Movie was very American, people tend to ignore it. The thing is though, he is canon. The best way to prove that is to get him back onto the show. Let's give him the on-screen adventures he truly deserves!
