Doctor Who: 10 Revived Series Episodes You'll Only Watch Once

Because sometimes once is enough.

Doctor Who is now officially the longest running sci-fi series in the world and with over 800 episodes (and counting) to its name, it's safe to say that it's well and truly taken over the world. What's more, the majority of those 800+ are brilliant, too, which is no mean feat when you consider the fact that the show is constantly changing and evolving its cast and crew. Despite the ongoing overhauls behind the scenes, the series has maintained a certain and unique level of quality over its half a century in operation and it's even managed to survive a few wobbles - *ahem* - along the way. You can't have too much of a good thing, though (yes, even when it comes to Doctor Who!), and it's ever growing plethora of fantastic episodes also means that there's bound to be the occasional and inevitable pieces of dry wood every now and again. Over the next pages you'll see 10 such examples. These are the episodes that, for whatever reason, are generally forgotten as soon as they've aired. It's not necessarily a bad thing, either, because they've usually served their purpose after one viewing. Besides, a 'below average' episode of Doctor Who is statistically better than everything else that the televisual market has to offer so these aren't bad episodes, they're just not as memorable as the rest. Oh, and a similar article for Classic Series episodes is on the way before you get all high and mighty in the comments. You're not the only one who remembers the Doctor's post-2005 adventures so please bear in mind that sometimes patience is a virtue. With that in mind, let's proceed!
