4. Did Davros Just Get Lucky?

According to the Ninth Doctor, the Last Time War between the Time Lords of Gallifrey and the Daleks destroyed both races and he was the only survivor of the destruction. Yet during the Tenth and Eleventh Doctor's tenures, viewers (as well as the Time Lord himself) discovered that there are actually numerous Daleks out there, alive and well, and not to mention the creator of them, Davros. So how exactly did a race who had their entire armada attacking Gallifrey end up surviving a war that destroyed both sides? At least, that was believed until fans discovered that Gallifrey had actually been saved and now resides in a pocket universe or parallel dimension... or whatever the hell Steven Moffat decides from week to week. There really is no way of keeping the Daleks down, is there?
