3. The Statue Of Liberty Is A Weeping Angel?
In The Angels Take Manhattan, Amy and Rory are both separated from the Eleventh Doctor when they're forced back in time by the Weeping Angels. However, prior to them being permanently stuck there (which, in itself, doesn't make a whole lot of sense...), the Doctor, as always, attempted a heroic rescue. During this rescue attempt, it was revealed that Lady Liberty herself (that is, the Statue of Liberty) was a Weeping Angel. But wait... what!? One of the major downfalls of the Weeping Angels, of course, is that, if anyone looks at them, they stop moving instantly and become a statue. In 99.9% of cases, they will win out on a staring contest, as everybody has to blink eventually. However, many fans wondered how exactly the Statue of Liberty was able to casually walk towards the Doctor and his companions when, not only were they looking right at her, but probably millions of New Yorkers, too. If they can no longer can be stopped by looking at them, this might move the Angels further than the Daleks and Cybermen on the 'Most Feared Doctor Who Enemies' list. Just imagine the chaos that would ensue. Oh, and speaking of the Weeping Angels...
