2. "There Were Plenty Of Proposals"

It was quite saddening to see that Clara was living all alone as an old woman (before it was all revealed to be yet another dream, that is) but she was quick to inform the Doctor that it had been her own choice. After all, nobody had ever come close to stealing her heart in the way that Danny - and even the Doctor - did, but, as she affirmed, she had still received plenty of offers along the way. What does this tell us about Clara's subconscious? She thinks she's quite the catch, for starters, but more importantly that as far as she's concerned, at least at the time being, Danny Pink will always be her one and only. Perhaps having now been given his blessing to move on with her life - although it was actually herself giving herself his blessing in a dreamy-seamy sort of way - she'll feel more confident to give romance another go one day. She has certainly got a lot of love to give.
