Doctor Who: 10 Things That Must Not Happen In Series 9

1. Another TARDIS Redesign

It seems almost strange at this point to realize that for the first five years (four series and a year of specials), the TARDIS interior set didn't change at all, barring the minor cosmetic adjustment. They only really got around to changing it because they were switching to HD cameras and so they had to rebuild the set anyway. Since then the major structural changes have been happening with increased regularity and the interior of the Doctor's beloved blue box went in quick succession from the land of giant circular shapes to industrial grey submarine chic to slightly threatening college library. Admittedly, to anyone working in set design who grew up with the programme, having the chance to design a console room has got to seem like getting handed the keys to the chocolate factory, but maybe this year let's spend the set budget on other things, OK? What did you think of this list? Is there anything else that must not happen in Series 9? Join the conversation in the comment section below.
