9. His First Job Was An Anti-Smoking Film

Everyone's got to start somewhere, right? During secondary school, at the ripe age of 16, David proved that he was destined for stardom when he appeared in an anti-smoking campaign which was commissioned by the Glasgow Health Board and aired on TV. It probably entertained more than it educated, though, and then somebody thought it would be a good idea to start screening it in schools as one of those films you're forced to watch in PSHE lessons that goes on to haunt you for the rest of your life. If anyone had to haunt pupils throughout Scotland, let's just be glad it was David Tennant. You're probably desperate to watch it now, aren't you? He's certainly come a long way.
