Doctor Who: 10 Times The Doctor Gave Zero F**ks

10. The Long Game

The Doctor would be nothing without his faithful companions at his side and as they step aboard the TARDIS and experience first hand what the universe has to offer, our beloved Time Lord learns from them, too, and he probably becomes that little bit more human every time he meets another one. But don't tell him that! Sometimes, though, they're just stupid bloody apes. Such was the case with Adam Mitchell, the self proclaimed 'genius' who first encountered our heroes back in Series 1's Dalek. Rose Tyler took a particular liking to him (despite the fact she had a long term boyfriend waiting for her at home - shame on you!), so much so that he ended up joining our heroes for adventures anew, much to the Doctor's less than subtle dismay. But then he went and spoiled it all by doing something stupid like sending information from the year 200,000 back to the present day. Seriously, Adam. You might've hacked into the United States Department of Defence computers at the tender age of 8, Mr Mitchell, but when it comes to the basic rules of time travel... Not so much. As such, the Ninth Doctor wasted no time in dropping him back where he came from and he couldn't have cared less about the fact he was leaving this 'companion who wasn't' high and dry after just one adventure. That's what you get for being cocky, Adam. Shunned by the Doctor and a futuristic infospike in your brain. Try talking your way out of that one. For the Doctor, not a single f**k was given.
