10. The Flood

Despite how hard humans try to find an oasis, water is a substance that is hard to escape from. It's hard to dodge and it can reach anything and anywhere which means it's one of the most uncontrollable things on Earth. If it needs to, it would destroy rocks. It's the unseen juggernaut that everyone takes for granted. It is irony that people need it so badly. Aside from its understated force that could topple buildings, the most dangerous of all is that it can carry infections. This is the concept of the Flood. The Flood are viral species that lives in Glaciers in Mars. When an Earth crew used the glacier for water supply, they went loose, possessing the humans and subsequently turning them into rabid and mindless creatures with the intent of infecting anyone they may encounter with water based contact. And by water based contact, it's not just about saliva, but high pressure water that can pour out of their bodies. If one of the infected gets contained, all it needs to do is flood the containment until it breaks. What happens when there is too much water for anyone to escape? Well, if the Flood finds its way to Earth, they could potentially wipe out its entire population. No one can outrun water. After all, the only reason the Doctor escaped was because he had a TARDIS...
