9. The Teller

Imagine a creature that can read your mind and, if it senses something as simple as an attempt to do something wrong, it would suck it out until the only thing that remains is soup. But that's just when it wants to be specific. On a bad day it might even try to suck out your mind for no apparant good reason, only because it has nothing better to do. There's only one chance to escape the senses of this monster; and that is to think of nothing. Nothing at all, not a dark stark place that has nothing in it, not even the word "nothing". How does one do something like that? No one would ever know. No one would be alive long enough to find out. Not a human, not even a Time Lord... No one is talking about Professor X, here. But a creature that would probably give Professor X a headache. It's the Teller, a slug like humanoid telepath that showed up as a slave of a militarised bank to be used as an unstoppable weapon for security.
