OK, so you knew this one would be on the list before you even started reading it, but were you expecting that it would be so low? Probably not, and that does mean that our title for the worst episode of NuWho has actually gone to something else for a change, but it's always better to just get this one out of the way, don't you think? And where are you even supposed to begin with an episode like this? An annoying - bordering on cringeworthingly unbearable - one off protagonist in the form of Elton 'Mr Blue Sky' Hope, hardly any Doctor and Rose, Jackie waving her dirty knickers in the air in an attempt to seduce a complete stranger by any means possible (don't judge her, she's just really lonely!) and then, oh boy... Peter Kay as a big, green absorbing alien with a mohawk who proceeds to run around Cardiff wearing a giant, sagging nappy. Yes, the Abzorbaloff was designed by a 9 year old, but that's just no excuse. It's great that the Doctor Who producers experiment with different narrative styles and genres but their efforts really were in vein this time (and then some), especially because there's... like, no narrative whatsoever. Now let us next speak of it again.
