Doctor Who: 10 Writers Who Should Never, Ever Return

Your tears only make them stronger.

Let's just get something clear. Doctor Who isn€™t always wibbly-wobbly, nor does it always involve timey-wimey stuff (can you really ever justify the army of snowmen? Can you, really?). It€™s serious business. There are a lot of lives at stake, a lot of ships that need to set sail and a story that needs to be told just right. Basically, all the things that the writers just don€™t seem to care about. All they want to do is make people squirm, €œtraumatize a generation€ and get away with stuff they don't think you would notice because for them it's just a TV show. However, before you go on gasping and puking rainbows at the thought of Doctor Who writers playing with your feels any longer, it€™s safe to mention that there€™s a MYSTERY WRITER rumoured to appear and lend a hand in the making of Series 9. It€™s exciting and terrifying at the same time. There have been about a hundred writers featuring in Doctor Who ever since it began. It could be just about anyone. While it€™s nearly impossible to know who it might be (obviously, they just want to watch the world burn), it's pretty easy to know who you don't want to return, lest they continue messing about with the show more than usual and ruin things for good. Oh, and a fair bit of warning before you begin reading. Sarcasm is very heavy throughout this article. You have been warned.
