Doctor Who: 11 Worst Costume Disasters Of All Time

8. The Nimon (The Horns Of Nimon)

Literally as convincing as a drunken college student stumbling around wearing a giant soft tiger head, the Nimon is a product of the nosediving budget the series was getting. Especially in a season where they filmed in both Cambridge and Paris, this one was always going to look awful. The proportions are probably the worst part, with very clear lines where the wide mask ends and the actor begins. Then a skirt to make the skinny actor look less skinny, despite his torso being completely on show anyway. This story was essentially the episode which was destined to take all of the budgetary falls so that they could make their two epics of the season, City of Death and Shada. Except then Shada collapsed due to industrial action half way through filming. At least they saved money there, too.
