1. The Absorbaloff
When it comes to Love And Monsters I'm really not sure who I pity the most; the cast for having to act in it, or ELO for having their music incorporated into it. Surely this is an insult to ELO? I appreciate that this comes from the script of a competition winning child, but couldn't RTD at least have given that kid some credit and made something of the script? Couldn't he have made this into something decent? If I were that kid I would be so upset by this travesty - as I would if I were a member of ELO. In short, if anything annoyed me enough to cause me to stop watching, Love And Monsters and the Absorbaloff in particular would have been it. A really imaginative concept turned into a complete farce that is more tedious than it is funny. In conclusion: my memory doesn't stretch that far back - I was quite young when the show was initially cancelled - and so I'm only talking about the most annoying characters that I can remember.
