Doctor Who: 12 NuWho Characters Who Should've Been Companions

6. Saibra

Psi wasn't the only potential companion from Time Heist, as Saibra was part of the team that broke into the bank as well. Her ability made her an instantly interesting character; she transforms her appearance when she touches someone, but it means she can't actually touch anyone for fear of how they'll react. She's less antagonistic towards the Doctor than Psi (though her feelings towards the 'architect' - the persona the Doctor creates to organise the heist - suggest that she could be very aggressive if she wanted to be) and works well in the team dynamic, which are positive aspects for any could-be-companion to have. Like Psi, Saibra left amicably once the heist was successful, even sharing a take-away with the others first. Of course, she no longer has her powers having stolen a serum from the vault to repress them, so it remains to be seen how she would play out in the TARDIS dynamic now. However, with things left open for a return, don't rule out her being back.

Adam Livermore hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
