Doctor Who: 12 Things That Could Happen During The 12th Doctor's Run

8. Grant Morrison Writing The Doctor

Grant Morrison Neil Gaiman and Paul Cornell both have written comic books, novels and for the Doctor Who series. Both writers have created some amazing episodes. Let's see Grant Morrison write an episode. His esoteric sensibilities could provide one of the more interesting episodes in the series. This self-proclaimed Chaos Mage has an appreciation for classic elements, with a modern metaphysical twist which can be seen in many of the comics he has written. Morrison was responsible for the death and resurrection of Batman and wrote the "Final Crisis" for DC Comics, which involved the multiverse being endangered and a massive team-up of superheroes to solve it. Sounds like just the kind of thing the Doctor has to deal with on occasion. He has written Doctor Who comics in the past and has quite a following.
