Yep, Series 9 hasn't even graced our screens yet but it pretty much goes without saying that Doctor Who fans are in for one hell of a treat when it gets here. How could it not be awesome with all of the factors mentioned thus far on this list? More Peter Capaldi, more Missy, a terrifying two-parter, Clara's comeback... and that's only a mere fraction of what lies in store. Last year's official debut of the Twelfth Doctor heralded the show into a bright and shining new era and it's one that is only just beginning. Who knows what other twists and turns will await us upon the Doctor's return in the autumn? Part of the excitement is sitting back and watching the timey-wimey drama unfold and, as NuWho enters its 10th anniversary year, the show still possesses the ability to shock and surprise us, which is both terrifying and exhilarating in equal measure.
