Doctor Who: 14 Actors Who Will NEVER Be The 14th Doctor

Jodie Comer recently had to step down from Ridley Scott's upcoming Kitbag. Not because she's about to start production on Doctor Who's fourteenth series, but because she's too busy with other work! She's due to appear in the West End in Prima Faccie and has reportedly been replaced on the project by Vanessa Kirby (another potentially great Doctor, now you mention it).

Comer has certainly proved to be a versatile performer, and that's just in her role as Villanelle in Killing Eve, let alone the multitude of projects she's taken on before and after.

She's clearly a star in the ascendant right now, and whilst there is absolutely no doubt that she would be a fantastic 14th Doctor, it's a fairly outside bet, especially for someone who's just finished playing a popular character in a long-running cult BBC television show.
