Midway through the episode, the Doctor infiltrates the home of Lucius Petrus Dextrus, one of the villains of the story.

At this point, he isn't with Donna - who instead stays behind - but originally, she tagged along to help him, and the pair would've been caught in a big fight within Lucius' villa, where Donna would've picked up a giant vase, smashing it over the head of a guard.

In essence, this scene was all about showcasing the mighty "pub-fight Donna".

In a separate tweet, Moran added that this fight sequence never made it into the episode because Donna was moved to a different scene.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
