When the Doctor tracks Prisoner Zero down midway through the episode, the two characters face off against each other on the Leadworth village green.

Director Adam Smith had a very clear and interesting vision for the filming of this sequence, with Willis revealing that he chose to shoot it "a bit like a western", with the Doctor and Prisoner Zero each brandishing their "pistols" (in this case, a sonic screwdriver and a dog on a lead) and holding them down by their sides.

This is reminiscent of how characters might hold their guns in a western standoff.
