Watching Doctor Who is an emotional rollercoaster, to say the very least. You're up one minute, down the next, and more often than not you're everywhere, anywhere and nowhere all at once which makes it especially difficult to maintain your grasp on what the hell is going on. After 51 years on our screens, the ongoing liaisons of that grand old man from time and space still possess the ability to shock us and generally the narrative twists and turns are just far too much for our Whovian brains to deal with.
