Immediately after that last scene, Amy and Rory head to the local hospital on Prisoner Zero's tail. In real life, this building is St. Cadoc's Hospital located near Newport in South Wales, and The Eleventh Hour wouldn't be the last time Doctor Who utilised it.

In fact - as revealed by Moffat - Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill shot "their last day" in this same hospital a few years later. The episode he's referring to is Series 7's The Power Of Three, which features numerous scenes set inside a hospital.

In a separate tweet, Gillan remarked that she had no idea that the hospital was the same in both episodes, to which Moffat replied that they only used the exterior in The Eleventh Hour, whereas The Power Of Three only used the interior.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
