Doctor Who: 20 Things You Didn't Know About The Tenth Doctor

7. He Was Terry Pratchett's Favourite Doctor

Terry Pratchett was a legendary fantasy writer that gave the world novels such as The Colour of Magic, The Wee Free Men, and the Neil Gaiman collaboration Good Omens.

He was also a massive Tennant fan.

In an interview in 2012, the author said that the Tenth Doctor was his favourite incarnation of the character, because David Tennant was, and we quote, "an actor".

Well, yeah, Terry. Way to state the bleedin' obvious.

Of course, we know what Pratchett means. He was saying that Tennant was a proper thespian, unlike the other performers who obviously phoned it in.

Clearly the admiration ran both ways, as Tennant starred as Crowley in the recent TV adaptation of Good Omens. Nice to see that the love was reciprocated.
