Doctor Who 2005 Cast: Where Are They Now?

4. Camille Coduri

Easily one of Doctor Who's greatest mums, Jackie Tyler spent the vast majority of Series 1 being worried sick about Rose's safety - understandably so.

She did eventually come to terms with her daughter's new life though, helping her break open the TARDIS in the final episode, allowing her to jet off and aid the Doctor.

Like a couple of others on this list, actress Camille Coduri later returned (as Jackie) for the Series 4 finale, and then again for the Tenth Doctor's final episode. She's also played Jackie in a handful of Big Finish audio productions, including the aforementioned Rose Tyler: The Dimension Cannon, a Tyler family reunion.

Away from Doctor Who, Coduri has remained active in the film and TV worlds. In 2010, she reunited with Whoniverse alum Noel Clarke for his crime movie 4.3.2.1., and in the same year, she had a one-off role in Midsomer Murders - just like every other British actor on the planet, it seems.

Later, she had regular roles in the British sitcoms Him & Her and Edge Of Heaven (the former starred Russell Tovey, who featured in Doctor Who's 2007 Christmas special), and her most recent TV credit is yet another British sitcom, King Gary.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for over ten years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
