5. John Barrowman

John Barrowman is a really busy guy. He's obviously most famous for playing the one and only Captain Jack Harkness on Doctor Who, Torchwood, and for Big Finish, but away from the Whoniverse, his list of TV credits is incredibly extensive.

Since Series 1 concluded in 2005, Barrowman has appeared in shows like Desperate Housewives, Reign, and My Family, while also being a recurring figure in the DC-verse, popping up in Arrow, The Flash, and Legends Of Tomorrow.

He was also a contestant on the 2018 series of I'm A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here, and since 2020, has been a host on the long-running ITV series Dancing On Ice, meaning that he'll be a Sunday night staple for many years to come.

With his role in 2021's Revolution Of The Daleks, he's back in the world of onscreen Who, so it wouldn't be a total shock if we saw him appear in the upcoming Series 13.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for over ten years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
