18. The Metacrisis Doctor

You have to hand it (geddit?) to the Tenth Doctor, he has a novel way of getting rid of clingy ex-girlfriends. When Rose comes back a-stalkin' in The Stolen Earth, he finds the perfect solution to get rid of her - give the chav her very own Doctor to play with! The Metacrisis Doctor is an incarnation of the Doctor as the Tenth diverted an impending regeneration into his chopped off spare hand which later grew into a full new Tenth when an emergency caused the regeneration energy to take a template from Donna Noble (simple really). In turn, she was given a super Time Lord brain for a while, becoming the Doctor-Donna. The Metacrisis Doc, meanwhile, was a feisty little critter rather like Scrappy Doo, forged in war and itching for a fight. He destroys all the Daleks with not a hint of 'have I got the right?' angst. With the Metacrisis version being human and therefore mortal, the Doctor leaves his doppelgänger with Rose back on her parallel world. For Rose, though not being the original, she has the bonus of getting a Doc who is not averse to saying 'I love you' and who looks to be as horny as a jack rabbit. Poor Donna, however, would've had her mind burnt with all that Time Lord knowledge, so she had to have her memory erased to save her life. Rose wins once again.
