Doctor Who: 30 NuWho Characters Who Would've Made Fantastic Full-Time Companions
10. Jenny
Appeared in: The Doctor's Daughter.
Now that's how you make an entrance.
Georgia Tennant (née Moffett) brings a lot of sass and guile to the role of Jenny - remind you of someone? However, she doesn't immediately endear herself to her father: all she knows is how to fight, and how to die - remind you of someone?
A two hearts to two hearts with the Doctor starts to slowly build their relationship, which blossoms very sweetly throughout. The turning point, quite literally, was her somersaulting her way through those deadly lasers. He's clearly a hard man to impress. Moreover, there's just an easygoing chemistry between the Doctor, Donna, and Jenny.
It makes her "death", while assuming the cradled Master position, all the more affecting. But thankfully, it turns out she really is like her father.
Tennant brought the sass back in 2018 when she emailed Russell T Davies and Steven Moffat on why her character, unbeknown to her, was unceremoniously killed off-screen. Happily, a couple of months later Big Finish once again came to the rescue and released a series of new adventures for the Doctor's daughter. Hope she still loves all that running.
