3. "Slow down, you move too fast."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60shMyabeMo I have often remarked that it would be nice to be a companion on Doctor Who for the health benefits. After all, I could participate in exciting adventures, work with superb actors and I could get in shape the hard way. Donna Noble says it best in "The Doctor's Daughter": "He saves planets, rescues civilizations, defeats terrible creatures, and runs a lot. Seriously, there's an outrageous amount of running involved ..." This is nothing new. As you can see in the above video, the Doctor has always been a runner and it's a bit of a...haha...running joke. MadTV once did something similar with the tendency of West Wing characters to walk constantly. On the other hand, we have Frobisher and Tucker, two of the great Capaldi roles. Tucker seems to be best at stalking ominously, which is probably why he is described as having the physical demeanor of a velociraptor. John Frobisher, a civil servant in Torchwood: Children of Earth, never seems to be in a hurry. Add to this the fact that Peter is 55 years old. While he's devastatingly handsome in his own right, he is of a more advanced age than his predecessors. Are we coming to the end of the "outrageous amount of running" era?

That's Kaki pronounced like the pants, thank you very much, my family nickname and writing name. I am a Red Sox-loving, Doctor Who-quoting, Shaara-reading walking string quartet of a Mormon writer from Boston. I currently work 40 hours at a stressful desk job with a salary that lets me pick up and travel to places like Ireland or Philadelphia. I have no husband or kids, but I have five nephews to keep me entertained. When not writing, working or eating too much Indian food, I'm always looking for something new to learn, whether it's French or family history.
