Doctor Who - 5 Russell T Davies Era Monsters That Should Return (& 5 That Shouldn't)
1. Should - The Raxacoricofallapatorians
The Raxacoricofallapatorians hail from Raxacoricofallapatorius and are often incorrectly called the Slitheen. The Slitheen are just one family of Raxacoricofallapatorians and we've even seen another family, the Blathereen, in The Sarah Jane Adventures. While the Slitheen are green, other Raxacoricofallapatorians can be maroon, brown and blue!
The Raxacoricofallapatorians are one of the most iconic monsters of the reboot of the show, likely remembered due to their green skin, black eyes and extremely long claws. They could also use the skin of humans to hide amongst the human race, which is not only gross, but also allowed them to infiltrate the UK Government!
It would be fun to see either the Slitheen or another family of Raxacoricofallapatorians return. They're the perfect balance of comedic and threatening, and Series 1's Boom Town showed that even Raxacoricofallapatorians can have a complex range of emotions. It would be great to see the home planet of Raxacoricofallapatorius too, considering its name was a running gag of Series One.
It's true that they might not be the scariest, but the Raxacoricofallapatorians deserve to return to our TV screens in another adventure, be it as the villains or as the allies to The Doctor. Just maybe don't focus on them passing gas so much.
