4. And We're STILL Digging Wells

A caption says "Days 8-12".

"Here!" cries the Doctor, pointing to another site. "No, here!" he announces. "Look at this grass. This is watery grass! Follow the squelchy!" The castle inhabitants are getting more than a little fed up with him by now. The Doctor appears to be leading them in circles.

"Day 12" says another caption.

Bors is pulling up a water-filled bucket from the best-looking well you've ever seen, as the other people lay about in exhausted heaps.

"Well, you've all the water you need now and it is the finest in the land," says a tired Bors. "Your meditation can begin."

"Yes, I suppose it can," replies the Doctor, subdued. "Except... Except, do you know what this well really needs?"

Bors knows what's coming. "Nothing, it's perfect," he insists. "A visitors' centre!" cries the Doctor. In disgust, Bors lets go of the rope and the bucket plunges back down the well. But, the Doctor is not done torturing these poor folk...
