Doctor Who: 8 Big Questions From Mummy On The Orient Express

1. What Is Next For Clara And The Doctor?

For weeks now Clara has been questioning this new Doctor and wondering whether she should be travelling with him. He is not the same friendly, heroic Doctor she once knew and last week he pushed her too far. Yet the thrill of the danger, the excitement of travelling through the stars is too great and she seems to have made a startling decision to keep going, even against her better judgement and her relationship with Danny. The idea of travelling on the TARDIS being like a drug might have been laid on rather heavily in the episode but it does suggest an interesting path for Clara moving forward. Will she have a positive effect on the Doctor, making him more of a hero, as his actions at the end of the episode suggested? Or will he lead her down a darker path? If the show goes down the addiction analogy, will his ruthlessness rub off on Clara, eroding that conscience she has held on to and brought to her adventures with the Doctor? There is a great deal of uncertainty regarding their relationship and it may be her undoing. Or it may be the light the Doctor needs to be a better person and a hero once again. Eight big questions, some concerning the events of the episode and some that ask what will happen to the Doctor and Clara next. In has been a tumultuous relationship and she has arguably developed into one of the most well-rounded companions in the show's history. Wherever Clara goes next, it is sure to be a fascinating journey. It might also be the turning point for the Doctor, if he doesn't send Clara down the same dark path as him...
