6. Defenders Of The Earth
What occupation do you think the Doctor would take on after being compelled to lead a normal life? He'd work for Torchwood, of course. This Doctor might be part-human but he's certainly got his Time Lord personality to match it with. He's got his eye out for trouble and would never in a million years let Rose go on those missions alone, despite her significant experience in the field. Once he joins Torchwood, though, theres no going back. His history with aliens would prove to be priceless to his associates and not only would he be able to succeed every time, he would also be able to spend more time with Rose. Of course, Pete might be a little wary of her daughter being with a part-Time Lord, but then again things are bound to look up sooner or later. The Doctor and Rose would go back to being the fantastic team everyone knows and loves and eventually give way to creating an entire legacy of defenders of the Earth.
